Q1: How do I create a new product listing?
👉 Go to Vendor Dashboard → Products → Add New, fill in details (title, price, category, image) and click Submit.


Q2: Can I edit my listing after publishing?
👉 Yes. Go to Dashboard → Products, click Edit on your product, and make changes. If admin approval is required, updates may need review.


Q3: How many products can I list?
👉 This depends on your subscription plan (set by the marketplace admin). Free plans may limit listings, while premium plans allow unlimited products.


Q4: Can I set discounts or sales on my listings?
👉 Yes. When editing a product, set Regular Price and Sale Price. You can also schedule sales with start and end dates.


Q5: What product categories can I list under?
👉 Vendors can only list under categories allowed by the admin. If you don’t see a category, contact the marketplace admin.


Q6: Do my listings need admin approval?
👉 Some sites require admin approval before listings go live. Check with the site rules. If enabled, your product will be published after admin reviews it.


Q7: Can I duplicate an existing product to save time?
👉 Yes, you can use the Duplicate option in your dashboard to copy an existing product and make quick edits.


Q8: How do I remove or unpublish a listing?
👉 From Dashboard → Products, you can either Trash (remove) or set to Draft (temporarily unpublish).


 

Admin’s Role in Listings

  • Approve or auto-publish vendor products.

  • Restrict categories vendors can sell in.

  • Limit number of products vendors can list (if using Dokan Pro Subscription module).

  • Monitor product compliance with site policies.

How Listings Work in Dokan/Seller

  1. Vendor Registration → A seller signs up and gets a vendor dashboard.

  2. Add New Product (Listing) → From Dashboard → Products → Add New, vendor can:

    • Add Product Title & Description

    • Upload Images

    • Set Price (Regular + Sale Price)

    • Add Categories & Tags

    • Manage Stock (if enabled)

    • Shipping info (if enabled by admin)

  3. Submit for Review → If admin approval is required (depends on settings).

  4. Live on Marketplace → Product appears in shop & is available for customers.
