44. Children and Minors
AladdinStores is intended for persons legally capable of entering into the transactions and agreements they undertake.
Children must not independently enter transactions where they lack legal capacity.
Where parental or guardian authorization is legally required, that authorization must be obtained.
If AladdinStores becomes aware that information concerning a child has been collected contrary to applicable law, we may take appropriate steps to delete or restrict that information.
45. Third-Party Websites and Services
AladdinStores may link to payment providers, seller websites, social networks, delivery providers, third-party services and external websites.
AladdinStores does not control independent third parties’ privacy practices.
Users should review the applicable privacy policies and terms of those third parties before providing personal information.
46. Business Transfers
If AladdinStores undergoes a merger, acquisition, restructuring, financing, sale of business or assets, reorganization, insolvency or other corporate transaction, personal information may be disclosed or transferred as part of the transaction where permitted by applicable law.
Any successor entity will be subject to applicable privacy requirements concerning transferred personal information.
47. Legal and Regulatory Disclosures
AladdinStores may preserve, use or disclose information where reasonably necessary to:
- comply with applicable law or court orders;
- respond to lawful government or regulatory requests;
- cooperate with law enforcement;
- investigate fraud or illegal activity;
- enforce agreements and policies;
- protect AladdinStores;
- protect marketplace users;
- protect third-party rights or safety; or
- establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
48. International and Regional Privacy Rights
Because AladdinStores may serve users internationally, different privacy laws may apply depending on the user’s location, seller location, transaction, relevant AladdinStores entity and applicable law.
Where mandatory local privacy laws provide users with additional rights or protections, those mandatory rights will apply to the extent required by law.
AladdinStores may publish additional country or regional privacy notices or supplements where appropriate.
49. Bahrain Privacy Rights
AladdinStores’ operations may be subject to applicable data-protection laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, including Bahrain’s Personal Data Protection Law, where applicable.
Individuals may have applicable rights concerning their personal information under Bahrain law.
Privacy requests may be submitted to privacy@aladdinstores.com.
Where legally available, individuals may also have the right to communicate with the appropriate Bahrain data-protection authority.
AladdinStores will process applicable privacy requests subject to identity verification, lawful exceptions and applicable legal requirements.
50. European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland
Where the General Data Protection Regulation, UK GDPR or equivalent applicable privacy laws apply, individuals may have rights including:
- access;
- rectification;
- erasure;
- restriction;
- objection;
- portability;
- withdrawal of consent; and
- rights concerning certain automated decision-making.
Individuals may also have the right to lodge a complaint with their applicable data-protection supervisory authority.
Where required, AladdinStores will rely on an appropriate legal basis and lawful mechanism for international transfers.
51. Other Jurisdictions
Users in other jurisdictions may have additional mandatory privacy rights under applicable local law.
Where required, AladdinStores may issue country or regional privacy supplements addressing such rights.
If a mandatory local law conflicts with a provision of this Privacy Policy, the mandatory legal requirement will apply to the extent required.
52. Changes to This Privacy Policy
AladdinStores may update this Privacy Policy to reflect:
- marketplace changes;
- new services and technologies;
- operational changes;
- new payment methods;
- new service providers;
- legal or regulatory developments; and
- security requirements.
The updated Privacy Policy will display a revised Last Updated date.

54. Social Media, Seller Content and External Channels
AladdinStores recognizes that social media, websites, messaging services, search engines, digital advertising and other external channels are important tools for promoting the marketplace and helping sellers promote their stores, products and services.
This section explains how personal information and publicly available marketplace content may be processed in connection with these activities.

54.1 AladdinStores Use of Seller and Store Content
Subject to the AladdinStores Terms & Conditions, Seller Terms & Conditions, Intellectual Property Policy, Social Media & External Channels Policy and applicable law, AladdinStores may use publicly available seller, store, product and service content for legitimate marketplace operation, advertising, marketing, promotional and commercial purposes.
Such content may include:
- seller or business name;
- store name;
- store logo and banner;
- seller profile;
- product names and descriptions;
- product photographs and videos;
- service information;
- prices;
- promotions and discounts;
- availability information;
- ratings and reviews where appropriate;
- store URLs;
- product or service URLs; and
- other publicly displayed marketplace content.
AladdinStores may display, reproduce, format, resize, adapt for technical or promotional presentation, distribute, link to and promote such content to the extent permitted under applicable agreements, policies and law.
54.2 Where AladdinStores May Promote Seller Content
Seller stores, listings, products and services may be promoted through legitimate AladdinStores and external marketing channels, including:
- AladdinStores.com and authorized subdomains;
- official AladdinStores social-media accounts;
- Instagram;
- Facebook;
- TikTok;
- YouTube;
- Pinterest;
- X;
- LinkedIn;
- search engines;
- online and display advertisements;
- email campaigns;
- newsletters;
- promotional campaigns;
- Partner and referral campaigns;
- marketplace banners;
- digital publications;
- messaging services;
- printed promotional materials; and
- other appropriate marketing and communication channels.
For example, AladdinStores may select a seller’s product, service or store for inclusion in an official AladdinStores social-media post, marketplace advertisement, promotional campaign, newsletter or marketplace collection.
54.3 Seller Authorization and Content Rights
Sellers are responsible for ensuring that content submitted to AladdinStores is owned by them or that they possess all rights, licences, permissions and authorizations necessary to submit the content and permit its use in accordance with applicable AladdinStores terms and policies.
Sellers must not upload content that unlawfully infringes copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, privacy rights, image rights, intellectual-property rights or other third-party rights.

54.4 Seller Use of AladdinStores Store and Product Links
Sellers may promote their legitimate AladdinStores storefronts, products, services and listings through their own lawful marketing, social-media and selling channels, subject to applicable AladdinStores policies.
Sellers may share:
- their AladdinStores store URL;
- product URLs;
- service URLs;
- booking links;
- auction listing links;
- approved promotional links;
- marketplace links; and
- other legitimate links directing customers to their AladdinStores presence.
These may generally be shared through appropriate channels such as social-media platforms, messaging services, seller websites, business websites, blogs, email marketing, digital advertisements, QR codes, printed advertisements, business cards, brochures, catalogues and other legitimate promotional channels.
54.5 References to AladdinStores by Sellers
Sellers may truthfully state that their products, services or store are available through AladdinStores.
Where accurate and consistent with AladdinStores branding requirements, sellers may use wording such as:
“Shop our store on AladdinStores.”
“Available on AladdinStores.”
“Find us on AladdinStores.com.”
Sellers may include AladdinStores.com or their direct AladdinStores store URL in appropriate marketing materials and selling channels.
54.6 AladdinStores Name, Logo and Trademarks
Permission to share an AladdinStores store or product link does not automatically grant unrestricted permission to use AladdinStores trademarks, logos, designs or other protected brand assets.
Sellers must comply with applicable AladdinStores branding and intellectual-property requirements.
Sellers must not falsely claim or imply that they:
- own or control AladdinStores;
- are AladdinStores;
- are employed by AladdinStores;
- officially represent AladdinStores unless authorized;
- are an official AladdinStores agent unless authorized;
- have an exclusive relationship with AladdinStores unless such relationship exists;
- are officially endorsed or certified by AladdinStores unless such status has actually been granted; or
- otherwise misrepresent their relationship with AladdinStores.

54.7 Social Media Interactions
When a person interacts with an official AladdinStores social-media account, page, advertisement, post or campaign, AladdinStores may receive information made available by that platform and the user’s privacy settings.
This may include:
- social-media username;
- public profile information;
- comments and reactions;
- shares;
- mentions and tags;
- direct messages;
- submitted content;
- advertising interactions;
- campaign interactions; and
- referral information.
AladdinStores may use such information for legitimate purposes including responding to communications, providing support, operating promotions, measuring campaigns, protecting the marketplace, improving services, marketing and engaging with marketplace users.
54.8 Reposting and Sharing Seller Social-Media Content
Where permitted by applicable law, platform functionality, applicable agreements and AladdinStores policies, AladdinStores may interact with, link to, share or repost publicly available social-media content relating to AladdinStores sellers, stores, products, services, promotions or marketplace activities.
Where additional permission is legally required for a particular use, AladdinStores will obtain such permission where required.
Sellers must not publish customers’ personal information, private communications, addresses, order information or other confidential information without appropriate lawful authorization.
54.9 Social Media Advertising and Measurement
AladdinStores may use social-media and advertising technologies to:
- advertise AladdinStores;
- advertise marketplace categories;
- promote seller stores;
- promote products and services;
- measure advertising performance;
- measure conversions;
- understand campaign effectiveness;
- understand user interactions;
- prevent advertising fraud;
- improve marketing; and
- personalize advertising where legally permitted.
These activities may involve cookies, pixels, tags, advertising identifiers or similar technologies.
Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential tracking technologies, AladdinStores will use appropriate consent mechanisms.
54.10 Third-Party Social-Media Platforms
Social-media platforms and other external services are independent third parties.
They may collect and process information under their own privacy policies, cookie policies, advertising policies, terms of service and platform rules.
AladdinStores does not control the independent privacy practices of these third parties.
Users should review the privacy settings and policies of platforms they use.
54.11 Seller Advertising and Promotions
Sellers may promote their AladdinStores stores and listings through legitimate external advertising channels, provided that such advertising:
- is truthful;
- accurately represents the product or service;
- complies with applicable law and advertising standards;
- complies with AladdinStores policies;
- does not infringe third-party rights;
- does not misrepresent the seller’s relationship with AladdinStores; and
- does not contain prohibited or unlawful content.

54.12 External Selling and Transaction Diversion
Permission to promote an AladdinStores store, product or service through external channels does not automatically authorize a seller to improperly divert transactions originating through AladdinStores away from the marketplace.
Where prohibited under applicable AladdinStores Terms & Conditions or policies, sellers must not deliberately move transactions outside AladdinStores for the purpose of:
- avoiding marketplace fees;
- avoiding subscription requirements;
- avoiding applicable transaction requirements;
- avoiding marketplace protections;
- circumventing AladdinStores rules; or
- improperly bypassing AladdinStores.
Sellers must not use social media, messaging services, external websites, personal or business contact details, QR codes, payment links or any other external channel to encourage, request, direct or persuade a buyer who discovered, contacted or engaged with the seller through AladdinStores to complete a transaction outside AladdinStores where doing so would bypass or avoid AladdinStores checkout, payment processes, fees, commissions, subscriptions, marketplace protections, policies or other applicable platform requirements. Sellers may use external channels to promote and share their AladdinStores store, product, service, booking or other authorized AladdinStores links, but such use must direct users to AladdinStores rather than be used to divert AladdinStores-originated transactions away from the platform.
This does not prevent a seller from independently conducting lawful business through channels unrelated to transactions or customers originating through AladdinStores, subject to applicable agreements and law.

54.13 Customer Privacy on Social Media
Sellers, Partners and other marketplace participants must respect customer privacy when using social media.
Unless legally authorized, they must not publicly disclose:
- private customer names;
- addresses;
- telephone numbers;
- email addresses;
- order numbers;
- payment information;
- private communications;
- dispute information;
- identification documents;
- customer photographs not intended for public use; or
- other confidential personal information.
Customer information received through AladdinStores must not be used for unauthorized social-media or external marketing.
54.14 Partners, Ambassadors and Social Media
Approved Marketplace Ambassadors, Business Partners and other authorized AladdinStores Partners may use legitimate social-media and external channels to promote AladdinStores in accordance with their applicable Partner Terms.
Partners may use approved Referral Codes, referral links, AladdinStores links, Partner materials, marketplace information and authorized promotional content.
Partners must not make false or misleading representations concerning AladdinStores, commissions, seller earnings, guarantees, marketplace performance or their relationship with AladdinStores.

54.15 Social Media Content Removal and Enforcement
AladdinStores may request correction, removal or discontinuation of content or activity that:
- misuses AladdinStores intellectual property;
- falsely represents AladdinStores;
- creates customer confusion;
- violates applicable policies;
- contains prohibited products or services;
- infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
- promotes fraud;
- creates security risks;
- violates applicable law; or
- otherwise materially harms AladdinStores, marketplace users or marketplace integrity.
AladdinStores may take appropriate action under applicable Terms & Conditions and policies where a seller, Partner or other marketplace participant misuses AladdinStores branding, marketplace information, customer information or social-media channels.
54.16 Social Media & External Channels Policy
