AladdinStores allows the listing of vehicles, motorbikes, parts and automotive services. Because these are high-value items, Sellers must follow the rules in this Policy in addition to the Master AladdinStores Platform Terms. Listings that do not meet these requirements may be removed.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to all listings in the Vehicles & Automotive categories, including cars, motorbikes, commercial vehicles, number plates, spare parts, accessories, and vehicle-related services.
2. Seller requirements
Sellers listing vehicles must complete AladdinStores identity verification, provide accurate contact details, and hold the legal right to sell the item. Businesses must also complete Company verification. Where local law requires a trade licence or dealer registration to sell vehicles, the Seller is responsible for holding it.
3. What a listing must include
- Clear, recent photographs of the actual item, not stock images
- Make, model and year
- Mileage or hours used, where applicable
- Condition, including any known faults, accident history or outstanding finance
- Whether documentation and registration papers are available
- Location of the vehicle and who is responsible for transport
4. Prohibited listings
- Vehicles the Seller does not own or is not authorised to sell
- Stolen vehicles, or vehicles with altered or removed identification numbers
- Vehicles with undisclosed outstanding finance or legal claims
- Write-offs or salvage presented as roadworthy
- Odometer readings that have been tampered with
- Parts subject to a safety recall, and counterfeit or copied parts
5. Buyer guidance
Inspect a vehicle, or arrange an independent inspection, before completing payment. Ask to see registration and service documentation. Payment protection depends on the payment method used at checkout, so keep the transaction on AladdinStores rather than moving to a private arrangement.
6. Transport, registration and taxes
Unless the listing states otherwise, transport, registration, import duties and any local taxes are the Buyer’s responsibility. Sellers must state clearly what is and is not included in the price.
7. Enforcement
AladdinStores may remove a listing, withhold a payout, or suspend an account where this Policy is breached. Repeated or serious breaches may result in permanent removal from the marketplace.
