What Payment Methods Can I Use to Check Out on aladdinstores?

Most sellers on aladdinstores accept payments via:

  • Bank accounts
  • Credit and debit cards
  • PayPal
  • Stripe

Bank accounts

Etsy uses Link, a Stripe service, to process payments made using a bank account. During checkout, you can create a new Link account or sign in to an existing one. Follow the steps from Link to add your bank account to Etsy.

Credit and debit cards

Sellers who accept credit and debit cards on Etsy accept most major credit issuers, including:

  • Visa
  • Mastercard/Eurocard
  • Diners Club
  • Discover
  • American Express
  • JCB
  • Carte Bleue (France)

You may see a pending transaction on your credit card bill for a small amount. This is a pre-authorisation test to ensure your card is valid. Once your card has been validated, it will be dropped from your statement.

Your card will be saved for future purchases, and can be removed or edited.

If you’re in the EEA

If you’re in the EEA, which comprises the EU, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein, you may be asked to authenticate your payment when you complete a purchase.

To authenticate a payment, you will need to respond to a prompt from your card issuer and provide additional information. Depending on your card issuer, this additional information may include a correct response to a question, a password, or a passcode.

PayPal

If you choose to pay through PayPal, you’ll be redirected to a secure PayPal page and then back to aladdinstores to confirm the order.

PayPal places restrictions on how often you can use their Guest Checkout feature. If you run into any trouble or have any questions about PayPal’s Guest Checkout, please contact PayPal directly.
