1. Master Terms of Service (User Agreement)

The Master Terms of Service (“Terms”) form the binding agreement between Users (Buyers, Sellers, and Visitors) and AladdinStores.com (“Platform”).
  • Scope: Applies to all activities on the Platform, including browsing, buying, selling, and use of services.
  • Role of Platform: AladdinStores.com operates as a neutral marketplace facilitator. We are not the seller, merchant of record, or manufacturer for third-party listings. All contracts of sale are formed directly between Buyers and Sellers.
  • Eligibility: Users must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction. Businesses must be legally registered.
  • Compliance: Users agree to comply with all applicable laws, including Bahrain Civil Code, UAE eCommerce Law, GCC VAT regulations, and relevant global trade and consumer protection laws.
  • Prohibited Conduct: Includes but is not limited to fraud, counterfeit sales, fee circumvention, harassment, prohibited items, or unlawful use of the Platform.
  • Enforcement: The Platform reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
  • 2. Privacy Policy & Data Protection

    AladdinStores.com is committed to protecting user data under Bahrain’s Personal Data Protection Law, UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, GDPR (EU), and CCPA (California).
  • Data Collected: Personal data (name, ID, contact), transactional data, payment details, IP/device data, and communications.
  • Use of Data: To process orders, facilitate transactions, prevent fraud, comply with legal/tax obligations, and personalize the user experience.
  • Sharing of Data: Limited to sellers, logistics providers, payment gateways, regulators, and law enforcement when legally required. Data is never sold.
  • User Rights: Users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or export of their data.
  • Retention: Transactional and tax data retained for at least 5 years or as legally required in UAE/GCC and other jurisdictions.
  • Data Breach Notification: In the event of a data breach, AladdinStores.com will notify affected users and regulators as required by applicable law.
  • 3. Cookie Policy (EU/Global Compliance)

    AladdinStores.com uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to provide a secure and personalized experience.
  • Types of Cookies:
  • o Functional (login, preferences, security). o Analytical (traffic, performance, usage insights). o Marketing (ads, retargeting, personalization).
  • Consent: In compliance with GDPR and GCC guidance, users must consent to non-essential cookies.
  • User Control: Users may manage cookie preferences through browser settings or Platform tools.
  • Essential Cookies: Certain cookies (e.g., for login sessions and fraud prevention) are mandatory for security and cannot be disabled.
  • International Standards: Cookie use complies with the EU ePrivacy Directive, GDPR, CCPA, and GCC regulatory guidelines.
  • 4. Platform Rights & Enforcement Policy

    To protect marketplace integrity, AladdinStores.com reserves full rights to monitor and manage activity on the Platform.
  • Actions May Include:
  • o Suspending or removing users for violations. o Withholding or deducting funds in cases of disputes, fraud, or chargebacks. o Overriding seller-stated policies where required by consumer law. o Requesting supporting documents or evidence from users. o Terminating accounts engaged in counterfeit or fraudulent practices.
  • Appeals: Users may appeal enforcement actions by contacting Support within 14 days. Final decisions rest with the Platform unless overridden by applicable law.
  • Final Authority: Platform enforcement decisions are binding.
  • 5. Jurisdiction & Governing Law / Arbitration Rules

  • Platform Disputes (User ↔ AladdinStores.com): Governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain (place of incorporation) and the UAE (regional operations). The courts of Manama, Bahrain shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in another jurisdiction requires otherwise.
  • Buyer ↔ Seller Disputes (Standard Transactions): Managed through the Platform’s Resolution Center.
  • High-Value Assets & Commodities: Disputes resolved under binding arbitration (UNCITRAL/ICC/LCIA rules), with the arbitration seat specified in the sale contract.
  • Enforceability: Arbitration awards are enforceable under the New York Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards.
  • 6. Force Majeure Policy

    Neither AladdinStores.com nor Sellers shall be liable for delays, non-performance, or disruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:
  • Natural disasters, pandemics, wars, embargoes, or civil unrest.
  • Government actions, regulatory restrictions, or strikes.
  • Global supply chain disruptions (ports, couriers, customs).
  • Suspension of Obligations: During such events, obligations may be suspended, modified, or canceled.
  • Termination Clause: If a force majeure event continues beyond 60 days, either party may terminate the affected order/contract without liability.
  • Refunds: Refunds may apply if fulfillment becomes impossible after a prolonged event.
  • 7. Amendments & Updates Policy

    AladdinStores.com may amend or update these Terms and related policies at any time.
  • Notice: Significant changes will be communicated via email, platform notifications, or dashboard alerts.
  • Effective Date: Updates will specify an effective date, after which they automatically apply.
  • User Responsibility: Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
  • Jurisdiction-Specific Updates: Updates may be tailored to comply with regional laws (EU, US, GCC, Africa, Asia).
