Managing Orders & Payouts
At AladdinStores, we prioritize a secure and efficient transaction environment. Our payout system is designed to protect both the seller’s revenue and the buyer’s purchase, ensuring a high-trust marketplace for everyone. This section outlines how to handle your incoming orders and how you will receive your hard-earned revenue.
A. Handling Your Orders
When a customer purchases your product, the journey to a successful payout begins:
- Order Notifications: You will receive an instant email and dashboard notification for every new sale.
- Processing Time: Sellers are expected to acknowledge and begin processing orders within 24–48 hours.
- Shipping & Tracking (Self-Basis): Based on our Self-Basis Shipping policy, sellers are responsible for choosing their own shipping, delivery, or local pickup couriers. Once the item is packed, you must ship it using your preferred carrier and immediately upload the tracking number to your Seller Dashboard. This notification lets the buyer know their package is on the way and starts the delivery clock.
- Order Completion: An order is considered “Complete” once the tracking shows it has been delivered and the buyer has had time to inspect the goods.
B. The Verification & Approval Process
Before you can receive your first order, your account and listings must pass our quality check:
- Seller Approval: All new vendor accounts are reviewed by our team to verify identity and business details.
- Listing Review: Every product listing (including descriptions and images) is reviewed for accuracy and compliance before going live to ensure a premium shopping experience.
C. How Payouts Work
We follow industry-standard security protocols to manage funds via an escrow-style system:
- The Escrow Period: To ensure customer satisfaction and account for potential returns, funds are held securely and typically released 21 days (3 weeks) after the buyer confirms receipt of the item.
- Automatic Fee Deduction: Before a payout is issued, the 5% AladdinStores referral fee and standard third-party processing fees (Stripe/PayPal) are automatically deducted from the total transaction amount.
- Payout Intervals: AladdinStores processes payouts on a bi-weekly basis (every 2 weeks). Once your funds move from “Pending” to “Released,” they will be included in the next scheduled payout cycle.
- Minimum Payout Threshold: Payouts are initiated once your “Released” balance reaches a minimum of $50.00. Balances below this will roll over to the next period.
D. Why We Use This System
As a growing marketplace, these steps allow us to:
- Prevent Fraud: Protecting your store from fraudulent chargebacks and “item not received” claims.
- Ensure Quality: Making sure buyers receive exactly what they ordered, which reduces return rates.
