Applies to: All Sellers / Vendors on AladdinStores who use auction features.
These Seller Auction Terms (“Seller Terms”) outline the obligations and responsibilities of vendors who create, manage, or participate in auction listings on AladdinStores. By enabling or listing an item through the auction module, the seller agrees to comply fully with these terms, in addition to the general Seller Agreement and Platform Policies.
1. Eligibility to List Auctions
1.1 Only sellers with verified AladdinStores vendor accounts may create auction listings.
1.2 Some auction categories (e.g., luxury goods, collectibles, high-value assets, real estate, vehicles, heavy equipment, precious metals) may require prior approval or additional verification.
1.3 AladdinStores reserves the right to restrict or remove auction access at its sole discretion.
2. Seller Responsibilities When Creating Auctions
Sellers must ensure:
2.1 Accuracy of Listing Information
• Product descriptions must be complete, truthful, and not misleading.• Item condition, specifications, warranty information, and authenticity must be clearly stated.• Any defects, limitations, or restrictions must be disclosed.
2.2 Compliance With Legal Requirements
• Items listed must comply with all applicable laws and platform policies.• Prohibited items cannot be auctioned.
2.3 Authenticity Verification
For high-value or branded items (e.g., luxury watches, jewelry, electronics), sellers may be required to submit authenticity validation.
2.4 Reserve Price Settings (If Used)
• Reserve prices must be set at listing creation.• Sellers may not disclose reserve amounts publicly.• Manipulating reserves to influence bidder behavior is strictly prohibited.
3. Conduct During the Auction
Sellers agree to:
3.1 Not interfere with the fairness or transparency of the auction.
3.2 Not engage in shill bidding, including:
• Bidding on their own auction
• Encouraging others to inflate prices
• Using alternate or fake accounts
3.3 Avoid modifying product details once bids have been placed, except to clarify or correct information.
4. Auction Cancellation Rules
4.1 Sellers cannot cancel or remove an auction once a bid has been placed.
4.2 Cancellation is only allowed if:
• There is a proven listing error
• A prohibited item was mistakenly listed
• AladdinStores grants explicit approval
4.3 Unauthorized cancellation may lead to:
• Listing removal
• Account penalties
• Suspension of auction privileges
5. Completing the Transaction
Once the auction ends:
5.1 Seller must honor the final winning bid, provided the reserve price (if any) is met.
5.2 Seller must not refuse the sale without a valid reason approved by AladdinStores.
5.3 Seller must fulfill the order according to the listing terms, including:
• Shipping timelines
• Packaging requirements
• Delivery commitments
• Warranty or guarantee terms
5.4 For high-value items, sellers may be required to:
• Use escrow services
• Arrange verified delivery or secure transportation
• Provide certificates/documentation before shipment
6. Payment & Payout Rules
6.1 Seller will receive payout only after the buyer completes payment successfully.
6.2 AladdinStores may hold funds for investigation if there are:
• Buyer complaints
• Authenticity concerns
• Risk alerts
• Category restrictions
6.3 Payouts follow AladdinStores’ standard commission and withdrawal policies.
7. Prohibited Seller Behaviors
The following actions ARE NOT allowed:
• Listing fraudulent, counterfeit, or misrepresented items
• Artificially raising auction prices
• Manipulating reserve pricing
• Communicating with bidders outside the platform
• Cancelling after bids are placed
• Violating local laws or platform rules
Violations may result in suspension, financial penalties, or permanent removal.
8. Liability
Sellers accept full responsibility for:
• Accuracy of auction listings
• Legal compliance
• Delivery of sold items
• Condition and authenticity of goods
• All conducting activities under their account
AladdinStores is not responsible for seller misconduct.
9. Acceptance
By listing any item in auction format, sellers acknowledge and accept all obligations stated in these Seller Auction Terms.
